View Full Version : Looking to hire C172 over xmas
Howdy all.
Looking to hire a Cessna 172 from about the 24th to the 28th. I'm probably looking at doing around 8-10 hours. Anywhere around Melbourne would be fine.
If you know of one, or have any ideas it would be much appreciated.

I've rented from tooradin before. No issues at all. Quite reasonable rates too.

Ytdn doesn't have any 172's at the moment. Enty of places at Moorabbin. LTV is 1.5'ish hours driveeadt of melb, possibly more chance at Essendon or Melton or perhaps Baccus Marsh.

Both Pearson's and Interair at Essendon have C172s for hire for around $185 to $195 an hour plus GST (last time I looked). Add $60 for YMEN landing fee, though .. ouch! Will need to be checked out of course.
Leongatha might be a possibility as well .. never been there, but I heard they hire a C150 for $120 an hour including GST. Probably the cheapest C150 hire in the country.
