In this week's "Der Spiegel".
The German Finance Ministry commisioned a study on the twenty largest tax-concessions and the study recomended scrapping five of those - one being as the title.
Leaving vested interests aside and considering taxes as I see them i.e. simply a money-raising instrument based on (order from politician's viewpoint )
1) Ease of collection
2) Difficulty of evasion
3) Ease of justification to the electorate
can anyone really argue against this internationally, seen from the macro view-point ?
Money needs to be raised and untaxed aviation-fuel is a drastic anomaly that is fair game.
