This might start a bit of a sh@t fight and don't get me wrong here guys, I love my job, I'm happy where I work, my employer is fantastic and I can live off my salary but, last year (from my rusty recollection) I think we received about four pay rises under the AFAP award salary conditions... for instructors that is!
But what's happened over the last 13 months??? Nothing!
Maybe someone can answer my question is the award wage reflective of industry demand; therefore has the recent recession effected any further progression in our salaries. Or am I just talking out my arse with no real understanding of what determines our pay rises.
Summers coming around and I want that extra 6 pack of beer a week.
