It appears there is a Flight Academy in the USA called Aussie Air...a good friend contacted them (since he is an Aussie...) to see if he could hire an aeroplane off them for a sightseeing trip.
They asked him for a US$100 deposit and they would book him in...he paid, and every day they would tell him the aeroplane was in another city and had not yet been ferried.
In the end, it turns out the aircraft he paid a deposit for did not even exist!!! The company has nothing to do with Australia nor Aussies...it is owned by a Spanish businessman.
Any Aussies in the US...beware..
