My PC has stopped producing any sounds, just randomly stopped the other day. I've tried all the 3.5mm ports with the speakers and headphones, checked SOUND in CONTROL PANEL, and there is still sound being output and the computer has confirmed it as working, but I still get nothing, any ideas?

Do you mean that if you test sound from the control panel applet, you can hear it?
If not, try a system restore to a point where you last know it was working. It's possible you've had a driver update which has cobbled it up for you.
Have you installed/replaced any new hardware?
