After the closure of YHOX, the ripped up part of the runway.

Has any other developments taken place,

Is the land still up for sale still

Is there anything stopping a "developer" buying the land.........and re opening it as an airport.

1 block, just 1 small block has been sold, and has the framework up for some factory industrial unit thing.. thats it. its actually right up on the fence of the M7. so no where near any of the old airport structures(hangars)

I think the chances of Hoxton being bought and re-developed as an airfield are a little less than getting honesty in politics, God back into religion and paddling a barbed-wire canoe up sh!t creek on a rising tide with a pointed stick as a paddle.

What we really need is a developer who buys up housing estates, evicts the residents, knocks the houses down and redevelops the site into an airport. I want to meet him!
