Hi all,

I am looking for an aviation film to which i have forgotten the name for.

the plot is with this guy in his single flying from LA to Australia but hits trouble. the crew of an Air New Zealand 767 were asked to help.

does anyone remember? if so, does anyone know where i can get hold of it?

The film is called "Mercy Mission: The Rescue of Flight 771"

Scott Bakula played the pilot of the small aircraft and Robert Loggia played the Air New Zealand DC-10 pilot.

Ignore the usual soppy mush, the remaining technical solution is very well thought out and explained.

Robert Loggia played the Air New Zealand DC-10 pilot.

It was an ANZ DC-10 in the real-life incident but it has become a 767 in the film.
