Hi guys,
I know probably a lot has been written about this in time but I just can't find the right info.

I'd like to know if somebody over here can give a good hint about a flight school in Ft Lauderdale or Florida, with which I could perform some single engine hour building.

Seems easy to find when you surf the net, but then on PPrune I see a lot of people complaining about the various schools around (EFT,ATP, AUSSIAIR,ARIBEN...)

Basically I'm looking for safe, fast , time building.

Thanks everybody!

Hi klm,

The school I have used in the past and will be using again next week for aircraft rental is palm beach flight training.

Their aircraft that I have used have all been fairly new, in good condition, and very reasonable rates. (hence the reason am going back next week)

Google them, and check out their website.

The good thing is they are also pretty close to Ft. Lauderdale too.

Good luck

Airborne Systems - Flight Instruction in South Florida (http://airbornesystems.net/)

Used these guys at FXE.. excellent... their online scheduling I found to be extremely useful.

Thanks guys!
I checked out the Airborne systems site, they seem ok, but that FXE center has a great fleet and seems also to have good deals..?
I heard someone said they're connnected to Aussi? They don't seem to have a good name on PPrune...

STAY AWAY FROM FXE CENTER
....they are related to Aussie air... beacuse they are aussie air...
aussie air built a bad name to them so they trying to use another aliases to bring money...(steal money)

check pea.com for time building they are doing an offer with accomodation in c172 !!!

Hey!Well, it's has not to be that, but I'd prefer too, as I'd get a better connection with my incoming flight from Europe, that's all!
Any suggestion?

Helicopter Flight Training USA. Pelican Flight Training Center. Helicopter Training - Airplane Training (http://www.pelican-airways.com/)

Try this lot also.. very friendly place I found.
Loved flying the Katanas...

They are at North Perry airport, between Ft Lauderdale + Miami, further inland from FXE, FLL etc

i went to A1 flight school in Opa locka KOPF, close to Miami and fort lauderdale. it's a small school and they give you a C172 only for you 24H a day. i spent 110$ per hour one year ago.

I can add a recommendation to Palm Beach Flight Training. My girlfriend and I hired a C172S from them for 5 weeks (70 hours flying), and took it to California and back. When the starter motor failed, they had one over-nighted to us and fitted the next day, so we were not delayed at all! These guys have a great fleet, and (certainly 2 years ago), extremely helpful staff and owners. :ok:
