Can anyone advise the registrations of the initial Bush Pilots Airways aircraft which were operated on this contract which commenced about June 1959 in Longreach. First used Cessna 182A, then Cessna 310B, then which aircraft prior to the introduction of Cessna 310R VH-BPI and VH-FSR.

The answer you seek are:

It was a Cessna 182A VH-BPG flown by Dick Sara. Then IFR Cessna 310B VH-BPS from May 1961, then Cessna 310K VH-BPA from Feb 1967 for two years.

Thanks for the info, C82R, just a couple to go after BPA to BPI. Maybe VH-BPY, a 310L moved in......

Are you researching something on BPA?

No, not BPA, just their involvement in the Flying Surgeon operations.
