Do you have a 737-200 type rating with 500 hours?

What about the 737-300 requirements?

Do you know if a 737 Classic rated pilot may be hired without -200 rating? Do they rate you on the 200 with a bond?

Thanks

Am not rated on the -200 but i hear they shall be grounded soon. What's the pay like for an FO?

Try Pamir Airways, they just got 2 737-400 and another two coming and have a -200 operating, most pilots based in Dubai. and a few AVE staff working there.. no idea on money,

How's the situation of the 737 operators in the middle est, above all in UAE?

Even if you are desperate, stay away from AVE.com, run by Kyrgistan mafia, never pay on time if at all...do yourself a favour. Other B737 operators in the ME are flydubai, Oman Air and Royal Jet, all B737NG and BBJ. Silver Air, B732 and B733, not sure what the conditions are.

Good luck

For whatever it is worth. If you are looking to build hours and nothing else, I guess you can "survive" in any company. But keep in mind that part of getting a good start on your career, company infrastructure, working environment and operating procedures should all be an important part of it. If your next company cannot live up to acceptable standards, you will soon be back on pprune.org complaining.

Any update for AVE?
Are they improving or still the same?

I would heed the warnings from your fellow colleagues.. DO NOT get involved with AVE. Com.. A complete and utter unprofessional organization most likely indeed run by some "shady" characters..

I know, I have been involved with some potential business dealings with them which completely were "under the table" and a lot of special payments where necessary and they were fully prepared to make those payments to whomever necessary.

I did not go any further with them, as my career means more to me than any short term gain from a potential business deal.. Again, I STRONGLY advise you to steer clear of these people, as you have no idea what you get yourself involved with..

Take Care..

I contacted AVE two weeks ago with regards to F.O positions, but was told they had frozen all recruitment because of the recession.
