Small question about NOTAMs

Hello noble gents.

I have just one question here, I've been noticing on many notams an acronym code I can't find the meaning for it, not even in Doc 8400 (And you can find AGA, RAC, NAV, COM, SAR).

It's the OTR acronym.

However, I think it's the acronym for OTHER, but I want some confirmation for it. Anyone?

....can you copy /paste an example NOTAM with the code you make reference too? As it is not an approved NOTAM contraction the danger is that we all have a wild stab in the dark without adding any real value to your posted query....

When I access the same airport via https://www.notams.jcs.mil/ I do not find the "OTR" part so it might just be how that site you are using is describing that spesific type of NOTAM-messages...

I use this link http://www.aisweb.aer.mil.br/aisweb/boletim_localidade.do for NOTAMs concerning Brazil.

Type SBGL in the first field box and change below from Português to Inglês, to display the results in English.

Could QTR denote "NOTAM SUBJECT TO QUERY. MULTIPLE AD IN ITEM A"?! No clue. QTR as a Q code denotes a request for the current time... doesn't lead any further.

No not really, other notams with OTR don't show up as that at Eurocontrol.

And it's OTR, not QTR, so no Q code here.

Is it so that the ICAO-doc defines a code for "OTHER" but the Brazilian authorities either does not use that code or did not know about that code when they made that system? ... Best guess at least since those codes appear from a database...

If there is that much space between -OTR- and the notam that follows, it's probaby not related to that specific notam.
It could simply means (an)OTHER notam follows regarding that airport/airspace or else. To see what was immediately before it would help. Maybe.
