Hi,

I have recently applied for a Trade in the ADF for Avionic Technician.
I have heard that the tests are harder than becoming a Pilot in the ADF?

Does anyone know what type of questions will be in them and does anyone know where I can study for them (E.g. Websites)

Any tips will be greatly appreciated :ok:

Well. that proves it .... You can train a monkey to ride a bike, but have you ever seen one fixing one.

You only have to pass (and score well in...) the initial YOU session and Assessment Day. That's quite a few steps shy of the testing process for pilot entry.

...So why don't you go for Pilot instead? - must be soooo much easier...

I don't know if it is harder or just different. You sat different tests when I went for it.
I Passed Pilot testing but failed testing for Avtech, so there you go.

I have to say, the most intelligent people I met in the ADF were avionics boffins! They left me for dead when it came to maths
(who does bloody 4.9 times tables in their head quicker than they can be done on paper?:ugh:etc.!)
