Hi Everyone.

I am beginning my studies and training this November, and I am looking forward to it. I have to move to a different country with a completely different climate where I know nobody.
Bring it on! :P

I have been looking around for a Vlog made by someone who has went through this before - but I have been unable to find any.

This made me think about making a regular vlog myself. Just an entertaining but informative video every few days on my life when training to be a Pilot.

However I was wondering if anyone would actually be interested - and I wouldn't just be wasting my time.
I would hope that aspiring pilots coming behind me would find it helpful.

What do you guys think? Should I make a Vlog/Blog, or would I be wasting time?

Thanks.

Just so as you understand our stance on blogs:

Don't like them and block links to them. If you want to do one that's great and I hope you thoroughly enjoy the whole experience.

Where have you chosen to go for your training?

I find the PPrune opinion of blocking links to bloggs a little strange, after all these offer real life opinions & experience that could well be of use to the wannabe with the advantage that they don't take up PPrune space.

Like all on the internet bloggs should be taken along with the standard health warning.

Sorry A and C but I think the rationale behind not endorsing/allowing blogs or similar type posts here on PPRuNe is completely sound.

A quick Google centred on comparing the two types yielded this (amongst other results):

Blogs vs Forums (http://www.suestudios.com/articles/article23.htm)

Personally, I believe it sums the differences up well and the first two points (Purpose and Discussion) highlight precisely why I wouldn't like to see our "dearly beloved" denigrated...

Best of luck to the proposed compiler though - may make for an interesting read/view... just not here.

Thanks for the replies.

Kind words and helpful pms- and I've just arrived :P

I'm still on the fence about how I will go about this - but I'm glad that a few seem interested.

EDIT: Oh and no, not Spain. I'm heading to Florida :)
