View Full Version : Personnel Records, RAF Cranwell - details?

When Innsworth was still going, there was a dept there called AR1, which (among other things, I suppose) had a facility to forward letters to serving or retired officers. That department no longer exists, and JPAC in Glasgow seems not to have taken on the task.

I believe that some of the officers' records (whether current, retired, or both I do not know) have moved to Cranwell. I don't have access to find out the title/address of the relevant dept. Can anyone still serving help me with such details? I am trying to contact a defined set of people for a reunion next year; some are retired, some still serving.

Thanks

What you could do Ken is start a thread in the "Where Are They Now" forum with a list of names. It will snowball with those who are PPRuNe members knowing the whereabouts of some, and those knowing etc. Try it.

PS I'd better be on the list!!! ;)

Thanks, chaps - I had found that particular Cranwell address, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. Not seeking any "disclosure" facility.

Wholigan - yes, I will follow up with a "where are they now".

Isn't Friends United or similar what you need?

That is another thread already being pursued.
