Hi there!
Am wondering if there are any Singaporeans who recently applied for CX Cadet program. Has anyone gotten a callback or email from Cathay?

I'm gonna apply very soon, do you know if the selection process involves interviews abroad? I live in the UK, and as much as I'd love to work for Cathay Pacific, I can't afford to travel all the way to Hong Kong on the off-chance of getting an interview!

sponsorship hunter, CX flight crew recruitment just had an interview session in London for UK applicants. Check with them to see when the next round is happening again. And if u are asked to come to Hong Kong, CX will provide full return tickets and hotel accommodation. So u don't have to pay. Do some more research to find out yourself. Good luck

Thanks for that very welcome piece of info., Oblivian! Sure has widened my horizons a bit. Don't suppose you know if Etihad and Lufthansa do the same with their ab-initio applicants??

Cheers!:eek::ok:

Has anybody from Australsia recently applied to the CX Cadet Scheme? I applied 3 weeks ago but still haven't had a response!

@<hidden> hunter yes they do! The only problem: At the moment Ethiad is only accepting UAE nationals and for Lufthansa you need to be completely fluent in german....
Cheers

I applied mid July, and just got the call for the initial interview taking place in london...I suppose you just have to wait a little bit longer.

If you apply to the Cathay cadet program and are unsuccessful do they allow you to reapply like Etihad do or do you just get one shot at the prize?

thanks!

Not sure if some interviews have already been conducted this month but mine is next week, and I know of someone else who is also in the same boat as me.

Those of you who have been called to interview - did you get a phone call, e-mail, letter via post, or what?

Sent my application in about 3 weeks ago, realise I won't hear anything (probably) for months, and that's if I'm (very) lucky. But I don't want to end up deleting the message on my answerphone by accident!!

Thanks for the info. Good luck!:)

PS. Is it just a one on one interview, or a series of tests?
