I'm studying (OK... memorizing the answers) for the part 135 ATP written.

I know the book says that 135 and 121 questions are possible for the typical flight log questions. My study guide states, "although the 135 exam focuses on the BE-1900 and the 121 exam focuses on the B-727 and the DC-9, all aircraft are candidates for all tests."

So is this really true? If I only memorize the answers to the part 135 aircraft will I be OK?

Thanks for abetting my laziness :)

I took the ATP written 3 times and it expired twice. Last time I took it was in August of this year and I didn't have any 135 questions on it. I took the 121 test. The other 2 times I think only a couple of 135 questions were asked but I can't really remember since it was in 2003 and 2006. When I took it in August, I only studied Part 121.
I also find it easier to understand the material instead of memorizing all of the questions. Just my two cents.

thanks for the insight and the advice. I agree that it's important to understand the material... it's a matter of patience (or a lack of it) to sit in a small room and work the questions.
