According to this news page
Salzburg emergency landing as plane engine falls off – General News – Austrian Times (http://austriantimes.at/news/General_News/2009-10-09/17104/Salzburg_emergency_landing_as_plane_engine_falls_off)

A Dash 8-400 literally lost an engine midflight and had to make an emergency landing in Slazburg.

Knowing the surrounding terrain around Salzburg and if what is mentioned her about the engine or part of it detaching from the aircraft is true that maneuver was quite an accomplishment although I have the feeling that this article is not very accurate regarding the "engine falling off the aircraft" :ooh:
Does anyone have more information about it?
