hi guys, first time poster long time reader. i live in stockport on the flightpath to manchester uk (man) and have noticed that a lot of aircraft are flying a different approach than usual just lately (ie about a mile farther to the right) just wondered if anyone knows why. thanks in advance. ph. p.s. runway is 23r.

EGCC ILS is tits up at the mo. VOR/DME app hence the subtly different tracking. Wont last long.

aircraft ops. yeah im a long time reader like i said. i have an interest in aircraft and like to read some of the comments news and views on this site. but am in no way an expert on the matter , which is why i asked the question, sorry if its been asked before or its in the wrong forum but i aint got time to read them all.:rolleyes:
