View Full Version : Problems with providing exam qualifications?

I have been offered a re-application with CTC early next year and will most probably be taking up the offer. However, when I went down to Dibden manor the 1st time I had my degree certificate and one of my A-level certificates with me as evdience. I have misplaced my GCSE certficate and have not seen it for a few years meaning Im looking to replace it. Edexcel (the exam board I had at school) is charging £35 per qualification (which would add upto nearly £400 if they find all my missing qualifications!) it successfully finds.

My argument was that I needed my GCSE's (specifically Maths, English, and Science at A*-C level) to get into college and I was required to gain at least 3 A-levels at college (grade A*-C) to get onto my degree course at University.

Has anybody else had this same problem and how did you manage to provide the evidence of your lost qualifications? Surely there must be another way than paying the monstrous amount of money Edexcel are asking for?
