On the Beeb today - starting soon, some lucky crews in a quote subbed "white painted a/c" operating a quote "direct??" service into ??Slovenia?? for a 'security stop' and on to London. Sounds like fun. Planned direct when Baghdad airport is sorted out.

Would be a fuelling stop if it's the 737s I'm thinking about............

No type mentioned, but the 'news' said ultimately 'non-stop' when the airport is sorted, so not 737.

BGW or SDA is sorted out, scheduled services ops from there now GF/RJ etc
the only problem is getting to/from the city, so not on holiday spot yet:sad:

Lots of investment going on in Iraq, more and more peolple wanting to travel to and from.
Scandanavian based airlines have been operating regularly in and out of SUY and EBL for quite sometime and more recently BGW. Its only a matter of time before the more routes open up from the UK via CPH or ARN etc.
