Folks, Just was talking to some one at the Flt.Ops and the news is it
that Chennai (VOMM) is implementing RNAV Stars and SIDs from the 29th
of this month.. RNAV 1 procedure is being introduced to all the runways (GNSS or DME/DME/IRU) .. Also news is that W114 and W115 have been swapped and has been made unidirectional.. Cant wait to fly in RNAV into VOMM.. :ok:

Also heard RNAV Procds at VABB helped save a lot of congestion..
folks doing that sector could give your feed back on how well AAI has implemented it..
Cheers..

Yup 07/25 is available..
I think ur reffering to the closure of 07/25 by 11am due to construction
of an link taxiway between C intersection and the new apron.
Well that work has been completed.
Did some midday departures last week and no info of any work other
than the regular maintenance of the RWY.
Should not be a problem for us though..
Bonne Landings !

8 STARs.
out of which 5 can be used FOR ALL RWYS.
1 can be used for RWY 07 only.
1 can be used for RWY 30 only.
1 can be used for RWY 25/30 only.

So basically 3 STARs are with limitations..

Yup there were no STARs untill now at VOMM
Only radar vectors for approaches ..
