Which is the worst aviation related website you use?
My vote would have to be the Balpa website,as to describe it as a poor 1990s vintage bulletin board would be overstating it and I have to pay a considerable amount of my salary to be a member!!

Well, someone had to say it.

Seriously though, on a bad day it can be really slow.

Plus the "quick fix" anti-spam solutions they have put in place are somewhat frustrating (the login "enter characters on this picture" thing etc.).

However, I've used worse.... so it's not number one !

This website is a technological marvel compared to that which is the new Balpa website!

This is pretty good, but I often use the same software on other forums, and they host pictures. It's so quick, and A picture can be worth a thousand words, as they say. I would make good use of that if they hosted.

One forum, the Mods turn the pix into thumbnails, these are displayed in a box with descriptive text. I don't know how much work would be involved doing this, but I guess on a forum this size, it would be too much.

The EASA website can be an interesting exercise in navigation.

I'll second that vote for the EASA website. In comparison, the FAA one, which has much more on it, is a model of clarity.

A so-called "Aviation Archaeology" website, called Peak Wreckhunters...
Very poorly researched (i.e. research is non-existent).
If you enjoy reading offensive, repetitive, misinformed rants, this is for you...

And three of the best:

If Aviation Archaeology is of interest, these excellent sites may be of interest:
Peak District Air Accident Research (http://www.peakdistrictaircrashes.co.uk/)

Dave Earl's Wrecks (http://www.webspawner.com/users/daveswrecks/)

Lancashire Aircraft Investigation Team (http://web.ukonline.co.uk/lait/site/)

Oh, and finally, my humble effort (http://macr.moonfruit.com).
