Hello everyone..
I live in Europe and did anyone go to the ATP flight school in the US??
ATP Flight School: Airline Training Programs (http://www.atpflightschool.com/airline_training_programs/index.html)
I am interested of doing the 150 days fast track program.
PPL to CPL etc.
please some advise.

i dont recommend atp ... and specially because your from the UK ...
because when you ll finish you required to convert to JAA or EASA and ATP wont help at all ...poor gs and knowledge...i highly recommend you an accredited flight academy ... you pay more but you absolutely get what you paid for...

I went to ATP 10 years ago to get my ME add on commercial. It was a pretty fast experience but I was lucky enough to have a good instructor.. The term that describes the ATP Flight School the best is 'Wham, bam, thank you ma'am' ..
Also, let me mention the fact that as a flight school owner I don't have a great experience with the graduates of the program.. To this day , I have flown and interviewed a lot of candidates and ATP grads are the worst when it comes to theorotical knowledge and experience with regular GA ops..
ATP is not a Part 141 school and therefore (to the best of my knowledge) not SEVIS approved to accept foreign students, so domestic US students only.

Hey you should take a look at Riverside Flight Center in Tulsa, OK. The owner is from England and has been running the school for 8yrs. He is 141 approved and takes in all kind of students from all over the world. The weather is pretty good and the staff is excellent. Good luck in your search.

ATP Flight School is in fact an FAA 141 flight school. In our JAA Professional Pilot Course, we work jointly with Naples Air Center to provide the JAA CPL after accomplishing the FAA Private (ME) and Instrument Rating (ME) at ATP in Daytona Beach, FL.
