Through no fault of the carrier's (ATC strike in Brussels) my Brussels Airlines flight ran 2.5 hours late yesterday. We also carried the pax from the previous flight which had to be cancelled. Because of a number of circumstances there happened to be sufficient Business Class catering on board for everyone. Rather than waste it, the Senior CC took the initiative of serving all pax with a light meal and free drinks. He will have to file a report to explain and justify his initiative. I trust that the company will congratulate him. That small gesture sure impressed the customers. For me, these are the little things that make the difference between flying with Brussels Airlines and Ryanair.
