With the demise of RAF Aldergrove and the Birth of Joint Helicopter Command Station Aldergrove will this move now set a presidence and we will now see the creation of Joint Helicopter Command Stations Odiham, Benson and Yeovilton, to name but a few.

No, Yeovilton's becoming Royal Marine Barracks Yeovilton.......after all it no longer needs a Cdre to run the place.

Perhaps Nero should send a Cdre to run CTC and cut the 32 week course down to 6:).

No VL will become RAF Yeovilton, all the Harriers will be based there, first 3 moved in today:ok:

RAF VL - only joking, Harriers - true, 41Sqdn down in cider country for a time, mind you thought I had gone back to the 70's when a Phantom went through VL today, just like the old days

Didn't the RN put up a proposal to move JFH lock, stock and OCU down to Yeovilton in order to save money as a counter proposal to the light blue money saving option of reducing or deleting the entire Force?
