Current delays at Frankfurt?

My brother is on DLH4853 from MAN to FRA and he is currently still at MAN saying that there are delays at FRA. Does anyone have information for why there are delays at FRA?

Hi Jack

As of at 1600, the third runway (oriented across the two parallel runways) was closed due to the wind direction. I am assuming that the tail wind component was to high for take offs, but this is speculation.

The flow rate suffered and my flight took a 35 minute delay.
