Conditions of employment are as per the RFDS Western Operations Pilots Certified Agreement 2005.
Salary: The following salary scales will apply.
Effective from 01 July 2007:
Level 1
$68,411.52 pa
Level 2
$70,475.64 pa
Level 3
$72,546.52 pa
Level 4
$74,645.51 pa

In addition to the above salaries, the following benefits are provided:
�� District Allowance:
Derby - $3,043 pa; Port Hedland - $3,043 pa; Meekatharra - $2,470 pa; Kalgoorlie - $2,271 pa.
�� Retention Payment:
$6,000 pa after 2 year qualification period and a further $3,000 for each additional 12 months of service thereafter.
�� Fuel Card:
2,500 litres of fuel per annum;
�� Accommodation:
Subsided accommodation provided at Derby, Port Hedland and Kalgoorlie - rental and utility
charges apply - 8% of salary.
Accommodation and utilities provided at Meekatharra.
�� Mobile Phone provided.
�� Assistance with Pilot’s home phone connection and home phone rental charges.
�� Salary Packaging.
�� Loss of Licence Allowance:
Up to $1,200 inclusive of GST, per annum to assist a Pilot to have adequate insurance against loss of licence. For Pilots aged 40 years or over up to $1,700 inclusive of GST, per annum.
