Planning a trip to the USA with the wife & kids in October and looking to travel LAX-JFK-SFO ID on AA. Anyone got any idea what it's like trying to get a seat as CX staff? Am I likely to spend all day at the airport waiting for a flight? Any insight appreciated.

First make sure you list yourself on AA Stafftravel 1-888-933-5922. Without it they might give you problems. Otherwise AA is quite nice to find a seat for you if available. Generally there is a seat where you can see your priority which is normally last since you are from outside the US. Try not to travel Friday and Sunday evenings and not on holidays. Good luck.
