Hello everyone, i am enrolled in a FAA part 141 program with my school and have done 150hrs of total flying with about 105 hrs of dual, can anyone specify the minimum no.of hours(dual,soloetc) that i have to do in order to qulaify to take the CPL SEL checkride?

FAR 61.129
250 total inc
100 PIC inc 50 in airplanes and 50 cross country at least 10 in airplanes
20 training inc 10 instrument at least 5 in airplanes and 10 complex
plus various cross country flight requirements but the hours are as above

this kind of question worries me . . surely your school would know this..?

If you want to commercial under part 141 the basic minimum requirement
in FAA is 120 hours of dual given out of which atleast 55 hours should be on the commercial areas of operation . I think 30% out of the 55 hours can be done on a sim .

Check the FAR aim under section 141 for more info

@Pilotwhite: i follow a cessna kit provided by the school was just getting curious about what i had to end up with so i dont have to do a 100nmx-country for an extra 0.1hrs of x-country needed at the end according to the FARs.

As an FAA CPL candidate, a copy of FAR/AIM should be an essential part of your equipment. You will be required to be familiar with it and will likely come up in the oral exam.

I don't think I have ever seen an FAA CPL/ATPL NOT have one permanently to hand.
