Hi guys,
Can anyone shed any light on the Maths test that needs to be completed in Stage 2? I have read in a few posts that it is purely fast subtraction. But on others, there are multiplication, charts, ratios etc.
Could anyone give some information please on what to expect?
Thank you.

If they are still using the same type of test back in the days when I was applying the CPP... It should be similar to a GMAT test... with 33 questions and you have 30 mins to finish them... there's charts, tables, data interpretations and manipulations, and logics... there's nothing you can not solve with just basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)... and each sets of data is used for 2 to 3 questions.
It is physically impossible to finish the test, however, certain questions is easier than others... so to answer more questions, simply skip the hard ones and move onto another questions which might be easier or harder. A lot of people get stuck at one question and just stuck there and end up not answering anything. This test, is really as much of a stress / accuracy test and a hard math test.
However, there is a rumor that they might be adjusting the stage 2 math test due to the fact that it is really hard (according to some people in the training department)... so who knows what they will do.
Anyway, Good luck to you all!
