Just a quick thanks to all the folk at Temora - terrific weekend and the flying machines were alive in their true element. The Sabre is worth every minute you have spent on it.

5 Sept was the best day I have had at Temora. Huge crowd, the program ran like clockwork with only short spaces between displays and sensible commentary (not just killing time). Yes the sabre flew. Most impressive, especially when it flew alongside a Hornet.

Took the Wife & Daughter along,

They thought it was pretty ho hum, but when the Hornet fired up you should of seen the look on their faces.

Best thing my taxes have ever been spent on.

Those Hornet pilots know their stuff.

To the volunteers at Temora, one of the best organised events I've ever been too.

Fair entry prices
Good car park organisation
Fair food & drink prices
Friendly and informed staff

Anyone thinking of organising an event needs to take a leaf out of Temora's book

Ran like clockwork - on time and a polished presentation.

But geez the traffic inbound between 10 and 11 on Saturday morning was chaotic!!! :bored::}

Absolutly terrific weekend. The weather was perfect, friendly atmosphere, hats down for the locals for a well organised display. The Hornet-Sabre formation and individual display of power and performance just blew everyone away.
Had a chat to Jamie (the Hornet driver)during a break, his experience is mind boggling.
Ten years on F/A-18, logged 2200 hrs on type. No wonder they send him to airshows.

I will be there at the next one...:ok:

And you would never see a more thistle like landing of her than David L's effort on the sunday - I know we aren't meant to judge a pilot by landings, but I can't land a tricycle gear as sweetly as that effort!
