Does anyone have any information on cyprus airways? any recruitment going on or planned in the near future? If so what is selection like with them? And any ideas of roster details, contract details, bases, pay etc?
Are you Greek-Cypriot, if not forget it...

Im from a greek cypriot background but i was born and raised in the uk. is that a no go?

It's who you know not what you know with CY. Being an English Cypriot is not necesserily a no-no. There are plenty of qualified pilots (well, typed at least...) on the island struggling to find work. Many of the locals are now seeking employment with the likes of Aegean.
Same could be said for Eurocypria, its who you know. Unless you have a cousin, uncle, father, 'gumbarros' or the like you dont stand a chance.

I agree 105%....Thats Cyprus. If you dont know anybody you dont go anywhere.
