This has most probably been covered in similar topics so apologies:

I am wanting to do my IMC and have moved to North West London (NW6) Elstree is closest, but I hear better things about Denham. My specific question is has anyone had any experience of IMC training at either airfield, and if so which school/instructor would you recommend.

I would recommend FlyTeam Aviation at Elstree and a chap called Ches Cole. Good aircraft (arrow) and decent airport. Not sure there's really much difference between Denham and Elstree, although Denham is slightly into that Class A...ooer! But as i say that shouldn't matter. Go check them out and see which you prefer.

Go talk to Eva at The Pilot Centre at Denham, great little school - I used to work there and very friendly.:ok:
