Please do not fly struck work.

Amerijet is on Strike.

https://www.amerijet.com/wps/portal

There are at least 11 known scabs thus far, and one Canadian company, CargoJet has a scab 767-200 crew flying around on the behalf of Amerijet.

I don't know if there is ever a good time for strike action, but right now would seem to be one of the worst!

With so many pilots out of work and desperate, it is likely that a lot of Pilots that would not ordinarily consider crossing a picket line may do so now!

The current economic climate favours exploiting outfits.

Any pilot called upon to do his/her job is obligated to perform the task at hand....end of story. The fact that Cargojet was a foreign operator only fuels the fire in the middle of a job action. It had nothing to do with their pilots or nationality! Posting their pictures and calling our brothers scabs is a bit too much and is totally uncalled for. These guys have families and jobs to do..........don't take it out on them or the company.

If Cargojet did do some sub-service flying for Amerijet - they did so because they are a non-union organization. Ever stop and ask yourself why they are a non-union organization? Could it be that they are treated better than Union Shops that tend to have contemptuous relationships with their membership and management?

I feel for my colleagues to the south and hope some of the work rules that I have heard about are embellished. However going after our pilot brothers and posting their pictures is out of line.....PERIOD!

Come on guys...lets focus on the issue at hand and try to negotiate a solid agreement. Amerijet cannot go on forever ignoring your concerns. The Press coverage on this has been very good and you are winning the media battle. Don't let yourselves be sucked into playing dirty....be smart and you will succeed.

ALL THE BEST!!!!

I guess you are just one of those simple minded, hard nose, unistic people who don't understand simple commerce.

Ive been flying for 17 years in a union enviroment and understand the need to support our brothers. However you missed the point entirely!

These guys have been centered out and are being punished publicly by the likes of you! Who gives you the right to judge them? They are hard working people (probably like yourself) and instead of reading the thread.....you threaten to expose them to the world. WHO CARES WHO THEY ARE!!!!

And now to announce to the entire forum that you have taken the names of the pilots who were requested to fly a mission? And announce it happily leads to many questions about your motives here.

Lets take this down a notch and understand that it is our collective desire to have our Amerijet cousins ratify a fair deal with the company. But we should NOT persecute those who have been called into service to support the company.....who I might add....need cash to pay for the very pilots who are striking....

Good luck to Amerijet and their Pilots....I for one see both sides of this issue.

Cheers
