Had a question from my bro. What type of aircraft is used on this run by Hinterland Aviation?

Also, are they good operators? After some bad publicity last year about another RPT operator out of Cairns he's a bit hesitant. It would be unfair to pre judge others based on that.

Should I tell him to go by bus/ferry?

Well I reckon if you've heard a bad thing about one operator, then they must ALL be bad.

I hear it's infectious, so if one operator has it, the 'bad things' germs spread all over the airport, before you know it, even the QF Mainline guys on a turnaround catch it and start doing dodgy stuff.

He'll be fine. They are very good. He'll be fine. Dont worry about j3 and his comments. He once flew for freeor partially for free so it makes him a bottom dweller....

Love from a former student j3. How goes it. We need to have a catch up again.

OT, mostly serviced by Caravans with the occasional light twin -C402/AC50 IIRC.

As far as I was aware Hinterland was one of if not the best operators in Cairns. Clean well maintained machines and friendly and helpful staff. I personally have never heard anything bad about them and would fly with them. Found this vid on youtube for your bro to have a look: YouTube - Landing in Dunk Island, Australia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpRjiDkKDgk)

Thanks guys. I'll pass on the info. It is unfair to judge other outfits because of the actions of a small minority.

I'm a bit removed from the Cairns scene down here.

Cheers.

You really should speak to the crew of late then!

I think 'BEATINGS will continue until morale improves' was the general gist from old mate at the helm :}:}

Caravans and a light twin (not sure about type) earlier this week. Been there myself.
