Hey everyone,

Ive recently started my IR and its going great! Yesterday I bought a Pooleys CB-DS Lapboard ( Knee / Flight Boards / Log Pads | Flight Boards and Trip kits | NFB080 | CB-DS Flightboard for Stick Aircraft (http://www.pooleys.com/prod_detail.cfm?product_id=1305) ) for the DA42 sim im training in.

I just wondered if anyone else here has used one before and they know anywhere to get punched plastic wallets for my approach plates to go on the left of the board?

I think its A6 size and I cant seem to found them online. I also in WHSmith today and they were about as helpful as a patio heater in dubai.

Anyway thanks!

James

I bought mine in Easons. Irish type of WH Smith. Any decent stationary store will have them.

laminated mine

Then you can write on them/underline for each flight (planned app speeds etc)

:ok:

laminate then hole punch the plates. that way you can make notes on the plate and wipe it off for the next flight with a bit of nail polish remover.

the plastic pockets tend to get stained pretty quick and get messy.
