Hi,

Im thinking about doing some training in the Czech Republic my CPL and FI rating. I just wanted to know if any UK guys or girls have trained over there and could tell me what the place is like i.e the RT and Navigation etc?

Thanks

This thread http://www.pprune.org/professional-pilot-training-includes-ground-studies/383915-help-me-choose-canada-usa-australia.html mentions 'The Flying Academy of Czech Republic' www.euro-pilot.com (http://www.euro-pilot.com)" - maybe that might help. Good luck.:ok:

Is there this surge of interest (you and others) thanks to FA's advert? It is definitely not the only place and some would pick another. Yes, there are few other schools that could accommodate English speakers.

Did you do your ATPL theory including exams in the UK? Not sure it'd be OK for the CPL module in Czech then. You can do IR training to some big/ger airports without brain-deadening landing fees, as some airports in the UK impose.

Thanks for replies. I have passed my ATPL theory in the UK and i already hold my MEIR so looking to do my SE 15hr CPL as cheap as possible and my FI rating also. I have spoke to schools in Greece who were all Useless the USA is to much hassle and the UK to expensive and takes to long.

Im trying to get a good price as its unlikely any job offers will be made soon and with renewals for MEIR why spend a fortune on training at the moment.
