Hey Guys, and Girls.

Can anyone help me, I can't figure out what type of aircraft appears occasionally in the back round shots of the Top Gear test track, it appears to be a 747, but it has a single pod under each wing with a double engine nacelle, and what looks like an aux tank on the second, outside pod:confused:
Any ideas:\
Thanks

From Wiki:

A Boeing 747-200 (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Boeing_747-200) which served with British Airways (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/British_Airways) until 2002 as City of Birmingham, G-BDXJ, was purchased by Aces High Limited, a company specialising in supplying aircraft for television and film work, and transferred to Dunsfold.
It was modified and used for filming for the 2006 James Bond (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/James_Bond) film Casino Royale (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Casino_Royale_(2006_film)). Some of the scenes set at Miami International Airport (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Miami_International_Airport) were filmed at Dunsfold.
Modifications to the aircraft include the removal of the normal Rolls Royce (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Rolls-Royce_plc) engines in separate nacelles (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Nacelle) and replacement with a single nacelle on each wing with two engines, similar to those fitted to aircraft such as the B-52 Heavy Bomber (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/B-52_Stratofortress). Dummy drop tanks have been fitted where the outer engines would normally be fitted. The aircraft is not flyable at the present moment.
The aircraft has also appeared in the background of numerous Science in Action and Top Gear (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Top_Gear_(current_format)) episodes and directly in an episode where it is towed by a JCB Fastrac (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/J._C._Bamford) tractor.
It was also towed by a Volkswagen Touareg (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Touareg) in a 2006 Fifth Gear (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Fifth_Gear) episode, the same year that the modified aircraft and Dunsfold Airfield were featured in a television advertisement filmed for the Volkswagen Touareg, demonstrating the vehicle's towing ability.
In 2008 it featured in an episode of Scrapheap Challenge (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Scrapheap_Challenge) in which contestants created machines to tow the aircraft.
In 2009 for major parts of Episode 4 of ITV Series Primeval (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Primeval) featuring a Giganotosaurus (http://www.pprune.org/wiki/Giganotosaurus), Dunsfold Airfield was used as the location for an unspecified London Airport.
