Just after some help with regards to my ATPL air law exam for tomorrow.

Got a question in practice about fuel quantity measurement for an a/c of MTOW 20 000kg....

After finding CAO 20.2 Sub 6 it refers to ops more the 5700kg.

It has a note; See Airworthiness Bulletin 28-002 for advice and instructions etc;.

My question is where do i find this bulletin 28-002?

Any help is most appreciated..

Hi 777,

I had the same problem finding that ref too. No need to worry just remember the ways that you can measure fuel quantity and when you have to do it and you will be fine with those types of questions. I am assuming you have the AFT notes??

Take your time too!

Cheers and good luck........

Even though CAO 20.2 refers you to AWB 28-002, according to the CASA web site AWB 28-002 was cancelled several years ago. The CASA web page now refers to CAAP 234-1 (1).

Civil Aviation Safety Authority - AWB 28 - Fuel systems (http://www.casa.gov.au/scripts/nc.dll?WCMS:STANDARD::pc=PC_90531)

Imagine the paperwork if an operator was to be audited aand this type of mistake was found.

One rule for them and another for us.
