Which GPS unit is better???

Either the Garmin 296 or Airbox Freedom Clarity ???
I will be using the unit a lot in both the UK and Europe.

Would be great to hear you experiences.

I've been wondering exactly the same myself this week. After passing my PPL earlier this year and just purchasing a share in a plane I'm considering a GPS as I venture further afield. The Airbox looks nice for VFR flight as it's a moving CAA map with all the info you could need but the Garmin looks like it's better build quality and has a larger display. Price is relatively similar, so I suppose feedback from people who use moving map CAA would be worthwhile as to whether this is preferable for VFR?

Go for the one with the track record.
