Hello, does anybody know where I can find a PT6 theory course for pilots in Europe, prefererably in/near Italy? It should be one approved by the manufacturer to meet the insurance requirements of the operator. I'm interested also in correspondence courses if available. Thanks.

No sure which manufacturer you need approval from, but if it is Pratt approved training you seek, it can only be obtained at the factory in Canada, or at the Berlin, Singapore, Beijing training centers. Contact info attached. If you have enough cash, they will come to your facility and do a special session.
Since it is pilot familiarization training you are seeking, these are typically approved by the airframer. Which aircraft are we talking about?

Thanks for the repiles. The aircraft is a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, so the engine is the PT6A-114A.
I already contacted the P&W training facility in Berlin (I'm in Europe at the moment) but they're not going to run a familiarizzation course for a long time, only mainteinance courses at the moment.
Does anybody know anything about RUAG Aerospace based in Lodrino, Switzerland? They seem to offer such kind of course.

You don't need a course on the engine. It is covered as part of the Cessna SET Class Rating Course. There is not much to cover!

The fact is that I work in Australia, despite being european. So EASA doesn't rule there...luckily! Anyway, also CASA (the ozzie CAA) doesn't ask for such kind of course, just the aircraft endorsement. It is the insurance company of my employer which, for some reason, does.
