Isn't it ironic that 4 years ago Flying Maintainer payment terms was changed to a task completion basis from continuous payment.

Today we hear that from 01 Oct 09 payment reverts back to acontinuous payment.......Oh those glorious leaders at Fleet/MOD...You really did f**k up and lost all your Flying Maintainers with experience to boot.:)

Thats not the case in my force. We have plenty of FM's, both experienced and professional.

It is good news that they are going to be paid again though.

So both your FMs are experienced and professional? That is good to hear! We also have two, but only one is professional (although in fairness the other is quite experienced, we're just not sure what in!)
