Ok, not having done any training in the UK, although I am a dual UK/US citizen, what jobs could a 700 hour FAA ME/CPL/IR get on either side of the pond? Would it be limited to freight dogging, aerial photo, glider towing etc? I have about 50 hours in an Aztec, 120+ in 182 & 182RG and loads in various Arrows, Archers, 172's and so forth. If it matters I am 44 and in good health. Would I need to build hours via CFI route (am planning on doing that someday soon, but life just gets in the way)?

Another option would be to go the Heli route, the training to IR/CPL is not out of the question.

It is is the usual paradigm, I am in a well paying high-tech job but always looking dreamily out the office window at the big shiny AA MD80's and Southwest 737's on approach to Austin Bergstrom, even though I do not want to fly the heavy metal.

Thanks in advance
