In difficult times for BA, I want to say a big thank you to gate staff and cabin crew for my return trip to Nairobi this week.
Myself and a colleague were booked in WT+ for our day trip to Nairobi (don't ask). We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded at the gate to Club, presumably because of my Silver exec club card. Once on board, the cabin crew were superb, nothing too much trouble, great fun and generally a credit to BA. On the return flight we were again upgraded to Club at the gate. When we boarded we found that the same crew were working this leg as well. We boarded with their disbelief ringing in our ears (You're joking, you haven't been upgraded again? You should do the lottery this week'.) Once again, it was a pleasure to be served by them. They are a top bunch and made a very tiring couple of days a whole lot easier to handle.
I have sent an email to BA so hopefully this will be recognised further up the food chain, but once again, thanks for a great flight.
