Hi folks,

within the last months I got several offers for jobs in Asia (China, Korea, Thailand, ...).

What I was surprized is the fact, that most of the brokers add an information concerning "any degree of colour blindness".

Since I was only flying in Europe/Africa (20years), I only remember from the medical the test with Ishihara booklet, where you see some numbers (arranged together by small spots) printed in different colours than the background (big circle).

Is it different in Asia and how can I find out if I fit to the Asian medical?

Grazie mille :D

I've done two CAAC medicals for the class 1 in recent time, but quite frankly, I can't recall doing the colour blindness test with the Ishihara booklet. They did probe in places I can't mention on a family orientated website such as pprune for reasons what were not clear to me ..perhaps they were checking for colour blindness that way?
