Just wondering if anybody else is in this time frame for the second stage?

All happening quite quickly, from the time I put my application in to the time they are sending me to HK would of only been 4 weeks!

well done on getting through the first part dark, i find out in 7-10 days if i made it through. will post my dates IF i get a + email.

you found out in two days that you made it to stage 2? she told me it would be a 7-10 day wait.

Couldn't agree more, focus on the booklet. Its been quite good for me as my first half of the year at Uni has been everything in the booklet plus more, so its good revision.

I leave on the 2nd of August from ADL, get back the 5th in the morning (leave HK at 23:35 on the 4th).

oh my bad, i confused you two guys for a second there. and that's what i've been doing, studying the notes, and like darkrampage said, it's a good wrap of my first semester at uni. it's nice having it all in one document though.

Big congratulations to everyone who has got through to the HK round of selection!! This is a bit off topic but did Cathay give any indication of the number of cadets that they were looking to recruit in 2009??

I was reading FTN today and there was an article stating that Flight Training Adelaide, who i believe provides the training are in talks with an as yet unnamed Asian carrier to teach the MPL syllabus - wondering if this has anything to do with Cathay.

As it seems a lot of you have already had your interview in OZ, could give me some help as I am due to have mine next week. What questions did they ask you? Was it with 2 pilots? were the questions technical or personal? Thank for your help and good luck to everyone with stage 2.

I didn't get invited to stage 2. It's frustrating, but there isn't too much you can do about it. Be sure to share your experiences of stage 2 and beyond, all the best guys.
