My wife just got one of these I have managed to freeze the screen of it on some text of a book I was reading - having problems unfreezing it.

The online guide is some kind of PRC file that I can't even open - slight urgency as it is brand new - I have botched - wife getting back from a trip on Tuesday.

While I'm here also have an old Dell Inspiron 5150 laptop - power adaptor broke - bought a new one on Ebay - pin didn't fit properly - Dell don't stock them anymore - thanks

Can you take a photo of the Inspiron 5150 power adapter (and plug pin into the laptop)?

There's a hard reset button on the back. Maybe that will help. PRC is a Mobipocket file.

Re the Dell, PA-13 equivalents are available pretty much everywhere for $25-$35 or so. The power tip is a standard 7.4mm/5mm with center pin, but the adapter puts out a whopping 130W, so don't get a 90W version.

Most Dell PSUs are 65W, with the ones designed for running docking stations at 90W, so 130W must be the payback for buying a cheap Inspiron in the first place - Dell must have shares in Powergen!

Not to mention the effect it'll have on your child-siring abilities with that heat sat on your lap too long :ooh:
