Story's a couple of months old, but since it's been quiet around here lately: looks like Whirls has some competition from the massing horde[tte]s.

Xie Xiyao and Ma Yang pose for a photo before flying a helicopter during a training class at the Civil Aviation Flight University of China in southwest China's Sichuan province May 20, 2009. They are trained to become China's first batch of female helicopter pilots, among others. Upon graduation, they need to finish one year's training and 105 hours' air flight at the university.

I see they have the same problem as me - a slight deficiency in the height department :}

Well done and good luck gals :ok:

Whirls,

From what I saw.....I could care less if they had even heard a banjo!

Why is it I feel like a true Dino.....I got into this game way...way...way too soon!

Life can be so unfair at times!

One could only be jealous of these ladies being sponsored for initial training in Jetranger.. I wish I were skinny shortish guy who'd be able to put helmet on in R22 without breaking neck after getting in (or smashing head on the way in).
Also, the issue of refuelling R22 for XC dual.. If I could put 150lb flying weight in my future CV for FI jobs, I'd be torn to pieces :p

Not long ago I watch a slightly build gal flying a 206 on fires when the bulky fire fighter got the 206 tipped backwards and the tailrotor contacted the ground. There is something to say about having alittle weight up front.
