There is an airstrip just outside Petersfield in Hampshire close to Colemore Common. Seems to have acquired runway markers, a hanger, helipad. Quite a long grass runway. It's not on the charts yet and I can't find any info on it anywhere. Does anyone know anything about it?

Have you looked it up in Lockyer's Farm strip guide or the like? If it's anywhere, it's probably there as it lists loads of little strips that don't feature on any charts.
If it aien't in there, chances are (unless it's a really recent build) it's a private strip as in private/my playground/no visitors/go away. We've got several unlisted ones like that on the south coast - one of them looks really immaculately kept.

Could be this one:-
Colemore Common / Petersfield Airfield (http://ukga.com/airfield/colemore-common)

It's operated by Hampshire Microlight Club (http://www.hmfclub.com/index.htm)

And before you go messing things up with the neighbours I'd call them on the phone.

I fly from a private 1000 metre strip at Northiam in Sussex that is not on the map and there is another microlight strip in the village. I can assure you that if you came cold calling there would be a frosty welcome.

Neighbours can be very anti aviation in these parts:}

If it is Northwest of the A32 its West Tisted International
Colemore does not have any hangers

Thanks for all the replies. It's not Colemore Common, I've flown in there before. I believe it's just a few miles to the west. It must have been developed recently.

I certainly wouldn't fly in to anywhere with out PPR! Just curious about this place as it seems to be developing quickly with a helipad, hangarage, runway numbering etc... If it is private, I'm very envious!

Some more Googling and I found that Colemore Common has been severely throttled by this planning decision (http://planningdevelopment.easthants.gov.uk/DCOnline/AcolNetCGI.gov?ACTION=UNWRAP&RIPNAME=Root.PgeResultDetail&TheSystemkey=212363) - 44 movements a year over 31 days - very tough, surely?

This strip (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=east+tisted&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=13.26154,28.256836&ie=UTF8&ll=51.0476,-1.05737&spn=0.01376,0.027595&t=h&z=15) at West Tisted is parallel to and about 200 yards N of the A32 - is that the one you saw?
