Hi there,

Wondering if anyone could give their input:
I am wanting to start with my PPL exams soon and would like some advice on what would probably be the best notes to study from, I live, and am going to write, in South Africa, so please no foreign stuff.

Thanks

Mate, I used AFE,

AFE PPL Course Series Pack : AFE - Airplan Flight Equipment (http://www.afeonline.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=38_179&products_id=1968)

Good as any I saw. PPL Confuser also worth looking at...

Cheers for the advice mate,

However isn't AFE for the British system and therefore of no help for me here in South Africa?
I have heard highly of the PPL Confuser and will look at it.

Cheers

Most of the syllabuses are virtually identical. After all, it's just understanding the concepts. I would think they would be fine for your PPL studies. I used the AFE pack of 6 books along with the PPL Confuser and found them very good.

PPL confuser is the way to go, its like bristol ground school, but in an easy hardback version. But also study the AFE books, or any book that you use over there. you might pass just by using the PPL confuser, but I wouldn't take that risk if I was you.
